| Welcome From The Parisi Family! Thank You for visiting our web site. In the Italian language, Primo means the best. Our goal is to bring you the best in Italian food. We create each dish with care, using our family's old world recipes. Pizza is available with three distinctly different crusts- crispy thin, deep-dish and stuffed. We make our dough fresh daily and each pizza has its own signature sauce. Our ever-expanding list of Gourmet Specialty Pizzas make great appetizers. When I was a boy growing up in Chicago, we went to my grandparents house on Byron Street for dinner at least once each week. Back then, dinner wasn't the 1-2-3 affair like it is today. Dinner was an EVENT! "Hey Paisano, mangia" were my grandfather's favorite words. That means EAT in Italian. My grandparents Sam and Esther Parisi were not happy unless you left the table with a full belly. And who could resist? Spaghetti with meatballs and sausage, fresh Italian bread, Grandpa's wine (I could have 1 small glass) and cannolis for dessert. Everything was homemade. That was my introduction to Italian cooking. At Primo, you may find our waiting time a little longer for your order. You are entitled to know why. Each pizza and pasta dinner is handmade when you order. There is no pre-made assembly line here. We believe in serving everything as fresh as possible and we accomodate special requests with pleasure. My grandparents would be disappointed if we did it any other way. Everyone is so busy in our fast paced society, that it's difficult to find time to get together with people you love. Make it a point to take the time one night per week to sit down with family or friends for a nice meal . Talk, laugh and enjoy each others company.
