Two Ways... Nick or Sammy

Our thin crust pizza is made on a crisp crust and is available with your choice
of pizza sauce.
Our regular sauce (Nick) has a bit of a BITE. If you prefer a lighter,
less spicy sauce, we suggest you order  a "SAMMY", which has a milder sauce.
Children and those with chronic heartburn may prefer a SAMMY.

DEEP DISH PIZZA
Our Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza features our homemade dough, which
rises in the pan to make a delicious, breadlike crust. Add cheese, your choice
of toppings and chunky ripe plum tomatoes and you have our version of the
Chicago Pizza invented in 1943 by Ike Sewell and Ric Ricardo of Pizzeria Uno.

STUFFED  PIZZA
Stuffed Pizza is made with a thin crust on the top and bottom. The inside is filled with Italian cheeses, your choice of ingredients and sauce  on top. Stuffed pizza is similiar to Sicilian Easter Pie and was created by Rocko Palese.  Rocko owned Guy's Pizza, on Armitage Ave
in Chicago. When he invented his stuffed pizza, he decided to open a new place, which Rocko  dedicated to his wife, Nancy.    The first Nancy's Pizza opened in Chicago, was at
7429 W. Addison St. I know it well, because I worked there for Rocko in the early seventies. Rocko eventually opened several Nancy's throughout the Chicago area.
Rocko was a nice man and Nancy was a sweetheart. This is our tribute to them.
