The inside is filled with Italian cheeses, your choice of ingredients and sauce on top. Stuffed pizza is similiar to Sicilian Easter Pie and was created by Rocko Palese. Rocko owned Guy's Pizza, on Armitage Ave in Chicago. When he invented his stuffed pizza, he decided to open a new place, which Rocko dedicated to his wife, Nancy. The first Nancy's Pizza opened in Chicago, at 7429 W. Addison St. I know it well, because I worked there for Rocko in the early seventies. Rocko eventually opened several Nancy's throughout the Chicago area. Rocko was a nice man and Nancy was a sweetheart. This is our tribute to them.
